Happy Friday = )

I need about 4 extra hours a day, though I'm very glad I don't have them. We are having some friends over tonight to help us test out some new foods tonight that, if they are any good, could prove to be very interesting... Especially if you like beer. ! (In the words of one of my favourite authors, Keep Reading!)

So, we are going to be having 2 types of chicken wings: a spicy sauce and a tequila-based sauce, along with nachos and fixings, including home made guacamole. Since I still have some running around to do before going to work, I'm just going to post up the recipe for guacamole as it's fairly simple. Mind you, there are probaly as many recipes as there are people; kind of like the recipe for Fridge Soup. I don't have a picture for it though, as let's be honest: guacamole kinda looks like baby poop after a lot of green peas.

Guacamole
  • 1 ripe avocado, pitted and peeled
  • 1 small tomato, seeded and chopped
  • 1 (or more, as you like) clove of garlic, peeled and minced
  • squeeze of lime juice
  • salt and pepper to taste
Toss everything into to a good sized bowl and mash, either with a fork or potato mashed till desired consistency. I like to leave it fairly chunky, but go to town if you prefer yours smoother.

Enjoy!
